Building upon the proven seddLED lineup, DOMINANT introduces the seddLED3.6 A3J-FHG intelligent RGB LED with an embedded ILaS® IC. ILaS® communication overcomes LIN communication limitations (20kbit/s) by providing high-speed 2Mbit/s, 12V supply, low-latency daisy-chain connectivity, enabling seamless interconnection of A3J-FHG modules via simple unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cabling. This high level of integration helps reduce PCB component count and overall system complexity.
As vehicles transition to software-defined platforms, interior lighting pivots from a static design element towards a dynamic, programable user experience. Engineered to meet this transformation, DOMINANT’s fresh seddLED3.6 A3J-FHG will deliver intelligent, digitally controlled RGB lighting, optimized for the next generation automotive architectures.
There are three key benefits of this device.
First, it delivers calibrated color accuracy with temperature compensation. Each device is factory-calibrated to a D65 white point at 1400 mcd (Day Mode) and 280 mcd (Night Mode). An embedded temperature sensor, combined with automatic brightness compensation, ensures excellent color consistency across all LEDs under varying thermal conditions.
Second, it enables intelligent system integration through the combination of an RGB LED and an integrated ILaS® control IC. This high level of integration significantly reduces MCU overhead and overall system complexity. The seddLED3.6 is ideally suited for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV), where ambient lighting functions are implemented at the software layer, enabling easy synchronization with HMI, ADAS events, driving modes, and OTA updates.
Third, it is designed to be zonal-architecture ready. With a daisy-chain topology, wiring complexity is reduced, enabling a scalable lighting architecture. This future-proof design supports the transition toward centralized vehicle controllers and next-generation vehicle electrical architectures.

The seddLED3.6 A3J-FHG is optimized for automotive interior applications and is ideally suited for single, precisely controlled light source designs in door panel ambient lighting, instrument panels, center consoles, as well as footwell and storage compartment lighting. Beyond functional illumination, it enables interactive HMI elements and distinctive brand signature lighting, supporting expressive and personalized in-cabin experiences.
