Policy On Conflict Minerals

DOMINANT Opto Technologies and its subsidiaries is committed to sourcing components and materials from companies that share our values regarding respect for human rights, integrity and environmental responsibility. In response to violence and human rights violations in the mining of “conflict minerals” namely gold, tin, tantalum, tungsten and cobalt, regardless of where they are sourced, processed or sold from the conflict region, situated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries, (Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has adopted rules to implement reporting and disclosure requirements related to “conflict minerals,” as directed by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010.
